Kelley was one of the best offensive players in the country in college (Stanford) and later had to switch to becoming a defender at the professional level. To me personally, one of the intriguing aspects of this would be to have her coach more on the tactics of this transition. What things did she realize she needed to work on with this positional switch, and how did she prepare for this switch? Additionally, she has been an incredibly respected leader and teammate on the USWNT, so better understanding her leadership style and how she has grown over the years would be interesting. Who are her inspirations? She also had a podcast called Just Women’s Sports if there is any additional resources you’d like to reference to get to know her better.
